This online program provides comprehensive knowledge of drilling & workover operations, rig floor activities, industry safety standards, and the responsibilities of a Floorman working on a Rig.
Core Operational Responsibilities
A Floorman plays a vital role in operations by assisting with pipe handling, maintaining rig floor equipment, supporting drilling activities, cleaning and organizing the work area, inspecting tools and machinery, and ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times. Floormen work closely with the driller to support efficient and safe rig operations.
Delivery Format & Training Channels
The program covers drilling fundamentals, work over operations, rig equipment and components, pipe handling procedures, lifting and hoisting operations, hazard identification, permit-to-work systems, and industry safety requirements.
